CLEEN Foundation Signs New Partnership with Norwegian Embassy to Advance Justice Reform and Women, Peace & Security in Nigeria
CLEEN Foundation team, led by Acting Executive Director Peter Maduoma, was warmly received by the Norwegian Ambassador to Nigeria, His Excellency Svein Baera, at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Abuja to formalise a new partnership. The visit marked the official signing of a collaborative agreement to launch a new project.
Titled “Strengthening Rights-Based Approaches to ACJA Frameworks and Advancing Women, Peace and Security in Nigeria,” the initiative will run across 12 states. It focuses on supporting the effective implementation of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA) and advancing the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) agenda.
The project will work with law enforcement, women, and youth to promote fair justice delivery, protect human rights, and increase participation of underrepresented groups in governance and peace-building. Both ACJA and WPS remain central to CLEEN’s work on institutional reform.
We appreciate the trust placed in us by the Royal Norwegian Embassy and remain committed to delivering on this partnership with integrity and impact.
