Owerri Office Takes Crime and GBV Awareness to Schools
CLEEN Foundation’s Imo State office continued its school-based campaign with a sensitisation session at Army Day Secondary School, Obinze. The outreach was conducted in partnership with the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) and the Imo State Police Command.
The session focused on helping students understand the dangers of cultism, gender-based violence, and criminal behaviour. Through interactive discussions and practical examples, students were encouraged to reflect on their choices and commit to peaceful conduct.
Many students shared personal experiences, asked questions, and pledged to act as peace ambassadors in their communities. Their level of engagement was a strong reminder of the importance of early intervention.
CLEEN Foundation remains committed to equipping young people with the tools to build safer, more respectful communities from the ground up.
