Benard Ekobay

Benard Ekobay is a Programs development and Communications expert with a demonstrated history of working in the civil society, and broadcast media industry such as BBC Media Action in areas of strengthening multilateralism, good governance, conflict mitigation and conflict prevention.

He is an Experienced programmes development practitioner and has worked on governance, diplomacy and development issues funded by the United Nations Office of the Senior Special Adviser on Africa, Ford Foundation, MacArthur Foundation, Mercy Corps and a host of others.
Volunteers for Skills Outside School, where he teaches and serves as a mentor to young women who are in secondary school about career choices and life decisions.
He has also served in the elections department at YIAGA Africa where he was part of the team that conducted the first Parallel Vote Tabulation (PVT) under the watching the vote project funded by NDI in Ondo gubernatorial elections in 2016.
He is an excellent communicator and listener, skilled in Nonprofit Organisations with over 9 years of experience, creating/producing various communication for development and advocacy programs Research, Management, Audio Editing, and Graphics Design.
He has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) focused in Political science and Diplomacy from Veritas University ABUJA, and a Masters in Peace and Conflict Studies from Nassarawa State University, Keffi.
