Visit by the National Association of Political Science Students (NAPSS) to CLEEN Foundation

CLEEN Foundation on the 28th
of January 2020 received the National Association of Political Science Students
(NAPSS) Ekiti Chapter on an excursion trip to CLEEN Foundation to learn some practical
aspects of their classroom learnings in school.

In relation to their course, the
Foundation was able to share with them current projects that relates to their
field of study. Projects like Election Security Management, the Administration
of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA) 2015 and Civil Military Relations really caught
the attention of the students.

During the feedback session, some
of the students attested to the fact they were not aware of some of the measures
taken to curb some of the ills in our society. One student specifically
mentioned she was impressed with the Civil Military Relations Project which aims
to bridge the gap between civilians and the military to foster a peaceful
cohabitation.

Other than intimating them on
CLEENs thematic focus and all the projects that we do, we also dropped snippet
of real-life situations.

One of our senior officers in the
organization Oluwole Ojewale informed the students of something very fundamental
“there are two basic skills responsible for your growth in life, your ability
to speak and write.” “These skills are fundamental in life” he said.

At the end of the program, the
students were presented with relevant publications of CLEEN.
