As Nigeria celebrates our maiden National Police Day, it is pertinent to honour the courage and dedication of our officers and celebrate their gallantry in protecting and serving our communities. While we salute their service, we also continue to advocate for professionalism, transparency, and accountability.
Since the last quarter of 2024, CLEEN Foundation began a series aimed at breaking down the provisions of the Nigeria Police Act. These sessions have covered important topics such as search procedures, arrest protocols, suspect statements, rights at public rallies, and community policing.

National Police Day 2025 is not just a celebration, but a call to action for continued efforts towards a more accountable and transparent policing system in Nigeria. Through community engagement and consistent advocacy, CLEEN Foundation envisions a future where police officers are recognised for their contributions and work in partnership with citizens to create safer environments for all.
