The Anti-Corruption Transparency Unit (ACTU) of NSCDC visited CLEEN Foundation

The CLEEN Foundation recently had the privilege of hosting a delegation from the Anti-Corruption Transparency Unit (ACTU) of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC). The delegation was headed by the Acting Controller General, Audrey Ode, who serves as the Chairperson of ACTU. With a steadfast commitment to eradicating corruption from within the civil defense framework, the ACTU team presented valuable insights into their ongoing initiatives aimed at fostering integrity and accountability within the Corps.

 

During the meeting, the officials from ACTU detailed their strategic approaches and programs designed to combat corruption, emphasizing the importance of transparency in operations and decision-making processes. They also expressed a keen interest in exploring potential collaborative opportunities with the CLEEN Foundation. Together, they discussed innovative methods for driving anti-corruption efforts, particularly through targeted advocacy campaigns and comprehensive training sessions for personnel.

 

Both parties expressed enthusiasm for establishing a strong partnership that would enhance their collective impact on promoting ethical practices within the NSCDC. The CLEEN Foundation looks forward to developing effective communication channels and working together with ACTU to advance these critical anti-corruption initiatives in the near future.
