Engaging Young People on Crime Prevention in Imo State

Some moments are priceless, especially when you see young people pause to reflect on the choices before them. In Enyiogugu, Mbaise, and Owerri our team from the Imo State Office spent time with students of Enyiogugu Secondary School, Mbaise and students of Christian International School, Owerri, to continue an important conversation many young people need to hear.

In partnership with the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) and the Imo State Police Command, the session focused on helping students understand crime and criminality, the real dangers of cultism, and how to prevent and respond to Gender-Based Violence.
Students were encouraged to ask questions, reflect on their choices, and see themselves as active contributors to safer communities.
