On Tuesday last week a case of police brutality was heard which was reported by the Okungbowa’s family against a former DPO (Carol) who allegedly ordered the killing and Burial of their son (Ibrahim momodu)and they have been seeking for justice ever since ,there was a police lawyer who was standing in defense of the said DPO and after much argument ,it was agreed that the lawyer takes time to study the petition while the case was adjourned with other cases that wasn’t heard till this week .
Some complaints/petitions we have seen reportedly happened so many years ago(10-15yrs) and the panel has appealed that those with recent cases should come out and speak up or write and submit their petitions
