Ekweonu Henry is a Public Safety, Governance, and Policy Specialist based in Abuja, Nigeria, with expertise in security sector reform, civilian protection, and ethical AI governance. He is a certified Project Manager (DPro) and a strong advocate for police reform and technology-driven public safety solutions.

He currently serves as a Project Officer at CLEEN Foundation, where he supports the implementation of high-profile security and governance initiatives across Nigeria and West Africa. In this role, he works closely with international development partners, including UNDP and GSF, on security sector reform programmes aimed at strengthening accountability, civilian protection, and public safety systems.

His professional interests also extend to digital governance, civic technology, and ethical AI adoption in developing countries, where he promotes data-driven and modernised policing infrastructure. He has also collaborated with AI Safety Nigeria to facilitate capacity-building and intelligence methodology courses focused on AI adoption and responsible technology use.

Ekweonu Henry holds a Master’s Degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution and has built a strong professional track record in governance, public safety, and development programming.
