A Two Day Step-Down Training Workshop for officers of the Nigeria Police Zone 11 (Osun, Ondo, Oyo) on the provisions of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA) 2015

Provisions of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, 2015, CLEEN
Foundation organized a two day workshop with support from the MacArthur
Foundation.

The specialized training built the capacity of twenty (20) investigators and prosecutors drawn from Zonal Police Headquarters in Osogbo, Osun State.  The Zonal Police Headquarters comprises of Oyo, Ondo and Osun States Police Commands.

The training is necessary to address various operational challenges faced by investigators, lay prosecutors and other officers of the Nigeria Police Force performing same function within the criminal justice system in Nigeria that affects speedy dispensation of justice.

This step down training is done by the senior officers of the agency for the junior officers of the agency supervised by a programme officer of the CLEEN Foundation. The step down training is being carried out after a training of the senior officers had been done.
