CLEEN Foundation commemorates the 2022 Armed Forces Remembrance Day in Honour of the Fallen Heroes
The Board of Directors, Management, and Staff of CLEEN Foundation felicitates with the Armed Forces today as we remember our fallen heroes who paid the ultimate price in the defense of our dear nation.
As we reflect on the sacrifices made by the men and women of the Armed Forces both living and dead in the ongoing fight against terrorism and armed banditry in Nigeria, we are reminded again that the call to serve our nation as an arm bearer in the defense of our sovereignty is a noble cause worthy of the highest reverence. It is on this note that we respectfully spotlight the legacy of the fallen heroes who lost their lives in the defense of our dear nation today.
CLEEN Foundation through her Civil-Military Relations project worked closely with the Armed Forces to strengthen the relationship between the civilians and the Armed Forces in Nigeria. It contributed to the improvement of the trust relationship between the men and women of the Nigerian Armed Forces and the citizens following challenges from the use of kinetic approaches in internal security operations.
As an organisation, we will continue to explore strategic and peace-driven approaches to solving the security problems that have bedeviled the nation and we will continue to partner with the leadership of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, the citizens and members of the Nigerian Civil Society space in deepening positive civil-military relations in Nigeria.
On the occasion of this day, we applaud the decision of the Management of Air Peace in honoring the Armed forces with a priority boarding pass to appreciate their unwavering commitment to the defense of the nation. We urge other organisations to kindly emulate such positive gestures in boosting the morale of our men and officers of the Armed Forces of Nigeria.
Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria
